I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and a member of the Visual Recognition Group (VRG), working with Prof. Giorgos Tolias. Prior to that, I was a post-doctoral researcher with the Media Analysis, Verification and Retrieval (MeVer) group of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), working with Dr. Symeon (Akis) Papadopoulos. I earned a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and awarded a Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning by Queen Mary University of London, under the supervision of Prof. Ioannis (Yiannis) Patras. My research interests include similarity learning, multimedia indexing, retrieval and matching, supervised and self-supervised learning, knowledge distillation, location estimation, deepfake detection, forgery analysis.
